After a cold and windy early start and a slow fish start we head back in the afternoon and we straight away we were catching fish at the river mouth. We were fishing with the locally made Grim Reaper lures, great for off the beach and from a boat. We go out today for a trip to do a spot of fishing at the canals and trying out the smallest lure I have used, the 4.5 gram Grim Reaper. Warm up first with the 25 gram chrome Grim Reaper before dropping down to 4.5 gram with really small hooks. My teen ripped out a lot of plants they did not like, the grass was bald for a while, I mowed, then decided to leave it to grow a good length, so it wouldn't turn to mud. yesterday for the first time it stopped raining for two days, so I got the mower ready, mowed the front, but couldn't and can't mow the back. it is riddled with baby puha and dandy. mostly puha. best time to seek puha is after a long rain. thanks for sharing neighbour.
